My love for anime and participation in comic conventions naturally steered my photography towards the cosplay community. The authenticity, creativity, and dedication that cosplayers bring to their art are what drive my focus in this vibrant field. The intricate costumes, elaborate props, and the palpable enthusiasm of the participants inspire me to not just observe, but also preserve these moments of fantasy and expression.
My Philosophy
My approach to photography is about capturing “life in motion.” I strive to seize those fleeting, dynamic moments that are often overlooked, bringing out the emotion and narrative woven into them. As a member of the Kawaii Kon volunteer media team, I’ve had the privilege of being at the heart of numerous events, capturing the spirit and passion of the incredible individuals who make these conventions come alive. My photography is a journey of continual learning and exploration, influenced by my deep-seated love for manga and anime and a fascination with the dance of light and shadow.
